Organic and traceable ingredients

We feed our snails exclusively with organic vegetable sourced from trusted farms near Siem Reap (Angkor Wat) and Koh Rong, which also supplies high-end hotels and restaurants in the region. The primary components of their diet include carrots, cabbage, and lettuce, all cultivated without synthetic chemicals or pesticides. In their early growth stages, snails are also given natural calcium supplements to help fortify their shells. Full traceability is maintained from feeding to extraction.

Cruelty-Free

100% animal-friendly

Our extraction method ensures zero harm and minimal stress to the snails. Slime is naturally secreted during transport or mild environmental changes. We gently place the snails in breathable netted baskets in small batches (about 20 per unit), allowing them to secrete mucin. The secretion is collected without direct handling or stimulation. Snails are then immediately returned to their habitat. Mortality is extremely rare — less than 0.2% — and is usually due to natural aging, not the harvesting process.

Halal Certified

Our snail mucin is processed according to Halal standards, ensuring purity, hygiene, and ethical treatment throughout the farming and extraction process. No alcohol, animal by-products, or impure substances are involved. Furthermore, there are no pigs on the property or in the vicinity. Our certification allows us to supply brands that cater to the global Muslim skincare market.

Fairtrade practices

We operate a single local farm where all workers are paid fairly and treated with respect. Our practices align with Fairtrade principles by ensuring decent working conditions, no child labor, and opportunities for local economic development. As we grow, we remain committed to extending these values to future partnerships and satellite farms.

Eco-responsible production

From feed sourcing to packaging, our entire process minimizes environmental impact. We use leftover food streams, without chemicals, and maintain a closed-loop farming system. Our freeze-drying method is energy-efficient, preserving mucin naturally without preservatives, and our packaging is recyclable and QR-coded for traceability. We’ve also taken great care with our water source. A 100-meter-deep well was dug on-site to access groundwater with an optimal pH level, ensuring the best possible environment for our snails. To guarantee safety and consistency, the water is tested every six months by the Institut Pasteur du Cambodge, an internationally recognized health and research organization.
